Set up Customer Location-specific network monitoring rules

By default, Relay Proactive will behave according to your Organization-wide monitoring rules. However, you can override those rules for specific Locations based on the needs of the Customer. For example, you may want to automatically create Issues for both Monitored and Business Critical devices, but only at a Location that you consider a high priority.

  1. Go to Customers → Locations. Find your Location and double click or click on pencil icon` (Pencil) to edit it.
  2. Click on  (Profile Matrix) on the left navigation bar of the Location modal. You will see your Organization's monitoring rules. Learn about the device monitoring types and Relay Proactive behaviors here.

  1. To edit the rules for each monitoring type and device status, click on the cell drop-downs and update them with the behavior you would like to see. For example, with the default monitoring rules above, if a Business Critical device gets a Critical status, Relay Proactive will automatically create a new Issue in Relay.
