The Main Receipt Body is not Aligned
The main receipt alignment is controlled by the Line Width value within the hardware section of the Profile. If set incorrectly, customer receipts can print out too thin leaving blank space, or print too wide causing the text to wrap over 2 lines. To resolve this the Line Width needs to be updated to match the selected printer.
- Sign in the Register Portal
- Select the Config Menu from the top tool bar, then select Profiles
- Select the ‘edit’ icon to edit the required profile
- Expand the Hardware menu
- Scroll down to the Primary Printer section
- Set the Line Width value as needed
- Click Save
The info text for the Line Width field gives some examples of different printer widths, but please check with your solution provider for more details.
The Receipt Header or Footer are not Aligned
If the Receipt Header and/or Footer and not aligned correctly on the customer receipt, these can be adjusted from the Receipts section of the Profile.
