Linking a Customer to a Transaction

Linking a customer to a transaction is only available if CRM is active

Link From Customer Search:

Linking a Transaction to a Customer (Landscape Mode)
  1. Carry out a Search for the customer
  2. Tap Link to Sale
  3. Carry out your transaction as normal
  4. The customer name will appear at the top of the Journal
Linking a Transaction to a Customer (Portrait Mode)

On selecting the customer, you will be taken to the Register Screen

  1. Carry out a Search for the customer
  2. Tap View
  3. Tap the Transactions Tab
  4. Tap Link to Sale
  5. Carry out your transaction as normal
  6. The customer name will appear at the top of the Journal

  3. Enter Search Criteria and tap Search
  4. Tap Assign

  1. Carry out a Search for the transaction.
  2. Tap View
  3. Tap Link Transaction
  4. Enter Search Criteria and tap Search
  5. Tap Assign
 Unlink Customer from Transaction:

Replacing a Customer on a Linked Transaction

  1. Tap Link Transaction
  2. Tap Continue
  3. Enter Search Criteria and tap Search
  4. Tap Assign
Replacing a Customer (Portrait Mode)
  1. Tap View
  2. Tap Link Transaction
  3. Tap Continue
  4. Enter Search Criteria and tap Search
  5. Tap Assign


From the customer’s data field, selecting the Transactions Tab will display the list of transactions linked to the selected customer.

  • The transactions are listed per the date and time of the transaction, and the store the transaction took place in.
  • Tap View to display the transaction in a bespoke journal.
